"Confronting Christian Nationalism," A Panel Discussion

February 26, 2021

Christian nationalism is a potent force in our politics, melding religious conviction and national identity. The events of January 6th, 2021, brought its most extreme iterations into focus, but these divisive ideas are much more common than we may think. To better understand their origins, how they connect to white supremacy, and what it will take to build a more inclusive democracy, Interfaith Alliance welcomed Eric Ward, executive director of Western States Center, and Holly Hollman, general counsel and associate executive director for the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, for a conversation on confronting Christian nationalism.

This conversation took place on Thursday, February 25, 2021, via Zoom and can also be found on our Facebook page. *Learn more about the Christians Against Christian Nationalism campaign.
