Talia Jacobsohn is an incoming Senior at Washington University in St. Louis studying Jewish, Islamic, and Middle Eastern Studies and Marketing. She is excited to bring together these interests at Interfaith Alliance! Prior to this summer, Talia spent a semester studying abroad in Prague, focusing on Jewish life in Central Europe. She loved getting to travel around Europe, explore different cities, and deepen her understanding of new cultures! Outside of school and work, Talia is an avid reader, loves to attend yoga classes, and is always up for a game of Bananagrams or Rummikub.
Texans of all faiths are uniting in filing a lawsuit against Senate Bill No. 10 (S.B. 10), which requires Texas public school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments. The bill specifically mandates the display must be at least sixteen by twenty inches, hung in a "conspicuous space,” and follow a specific phrasing most commonly aligned with Protestant beliefs.
